PreK4 is a very important stepping stone in establishing your child’s educational foundation. At OSCS we encourage that “stepping stone” to flourish into a life-long love of learning. OSCS PreK4 promotes fine and gross motor skills, language and social milestones in a faith filled environment that teaches children the importance of kindness, friendship, and the unconditional love of God. A few objectives during our school year are recognition of upper and lower case letters, letter sounds, learning one-to-one correspondence to 30, rhyming skills, 40 high frequency words, and an introduction into the world of science and social studies. Together with the Scholastic Big Day Curriculum and the FLDOE Standards for 4-Year-Olds our year is filled with engaging lessons and activities that will promote the transition into kindergarten a success!
“Wrap around services” allow students to extend their day and love of learning! Our enrichment classes include Physical Education, Art, Music, Spanish, Library, and Music & Movement.
